What is resin doming?

Doming is a finishing process: a measured amount of liquid resin is dispensed onto each printed, die-cut sticker. Surface tension pulls the resin into a smooth convex lens that stops exactly at the edge of the shape, then it cures into a hard, flexible, transparent dome about 1.5 to 2 mm thick (never more than 3 mm).

The result is the glossy, raised logo you see on machines, appliances, vending machines, car keys and premium packaging. Unlike a flat vinyl sticker, a domed sticker looks like a small piece of branded hardware — which is why it is the product we are known for at Premium Sticker.

Print
Your artwork is printed in full colour on white or metallised vinyl, with a 2-3 mm safety margin.

Cut
Each sticker is contour-cut (kiss-cut on its backing sheet) — rounded rectangle, round, oval or custom shape.

Dome
Liquid resin is dosed on each piece and self-levels into a smooth dome. The sheet cures for 12-24 hours.

Check & pack
Every sheet is inspected under the lamp (bubbles, edges, colour), then packed flat in protective sleeves.

Resin doming — frequently asked questions

How thick is a domed sticker?

The dome is typically 1.5 to 2 mm high and never more than 3 mm. Small pieces (under 20 mm) have a thinner dome; large pieces get a flatter, wider lens.

Does the resin yellow in the sun?

No. We use UV-stable polyurethane resin that stays clear outdoors. The print underneath is sealed, so colours do not fade.

Can domed stickers go on curved surfaces?

Flat and slightly curved surfaces (a bottle or a helmet of large radius) are fine. For strongly curved surfaces choose a smaller size or a flat vinyl sticker.

What is the minimum order and the lead time?

50 pieces per design. Production takes 4-6 working days, then shipping: 1-3 days in Kosovo and Albania, 3-5 days to Switzerland and EU zone 1.
